Nine Pound Shadow is a happy-go-lucky band of family and childhood friends fashioning catchy melodies in the flats of West Berkeley. They grew up humming old-school pop tunes and somehow, note-by-note, the power and mystery of classic music wound it's way into the kid's mongrel DNA. The understated prettiness of simpler times grabbed their imaginations and steered their dreams.
