Starting things off with the atmospheric instrumental "Airlane," the quality of the songs gets stronger and stronger as the album progresses – "Films," "M.E.," "Observer," "Conversation," the aforementioned "Cars," and the U.K. Top Ten hit "Complex" all show Numan in top form.
